Brief: Insurance Brokers New Business Start-up in need of a Web Design, Branding and Marketing help.

De Novo Risk Solutions is an Insurance Broker and new Business Start-up.  They were in need of the basic elements to get the business up and running ensuring they looked professional right from the start.

Challenges

The main challenge from the start was ensuring that the branding worked for the client as everything else would be created from this element. The insurance market is predominantly filled with branding that consists of the colour red, however, we knew our client wanted something different. There was a need for the branding to really fit with the name De Novo, which means “of new” or “from the beginning” so we had to find a way of making this fit with an insurance company.  The other challenge we had was to ensure that De Novo came across as professional and able to compete with other more established Insurance brokers.

Solution:

We looked at a variety of ideas around the notion of growth or new beginnings and we wanted something that would seamlessly fit in with the name. We used the shape of the letter “D” to create our new growth image, so that it would fit in perfectly without having to lose the strength of the name.

The colours used then set the tone for the web design, which carries the green and grey throughout the site. It was important for us to make sure De Novo came across as extremely professional and capable for any future and existing clients. Working alongside our client closely ensured there was a good amount of content (imagery and text) for each sector that they cover.

We then created the E-newsletter, which De Novo will be sending out each month to existing and future clients and we will be helping them to monitor the interaction from each message sent.

The final thing we did was to get all there stationary designed and printed for them so that they could start running their business properly.
