NPR Music – Tiny Desk Concerts

NPR Music

NPR Music is a radio company with a few different radio channels, but what’s special about NPR Music? NPR Music has a great collection of live music of classic artists from way back. My favourite they do is definitely their collection of live band hip hop with some of the most influential artists to ever live, including Rakim, GZA, the rest of the Wu-Tang Clan and Smif N Wessun.

The name of these performances is called ‘Tiny Desk Concerts’ and they are performed within an office with a small crowd of bystanders. This gives all the performances quite a personal feel to them and lets the artist performing just do there thing and it always works out!
