Insomnia 61

On the 24th of August, I went to one of the biggest gaming events in the UK called insomnia 61

While I was there I competed in a CSGO tournament with a group of friends I had met on a website called Reddit. Although we didn’t win I still had a great time as it was my first ever LAN experience, plus I got to walk around and look at everyone’s cool computers.

When I was wandering around the Insomnia Expo hall I bumped into a lot of interesting people as well. I met a lot of cosplayers like the photo below but I also met the comedian Peter Kay, which was a surprise. Unfortunately, I did not get any photos of him as he was with family. However, he was very nice and he talked to me for a while.

In the next few months leading up to Christmas, I will be back to working on school websites, now that the summer holidays have drawn to an end.
