App Of The Week: Video Leap
Video Leap is a video editing app that can be used on your I-phone and I-pad.
Video leap is an app that allows for the editing of videos on your i-phone or i-pad. It can be used to merge videos together to create an extra long video and can also be used to implement the use of green screens along with other choices to change the video. The benefits of using video leap are that it has a free version that allows you to try the app before you get the pro version to make sure that you like it. It also allows for editing videos while travelling, as you do not have to carry a laptop around with you to use software like adobe premiere or final cut pro.
Video leap provides a very good service for editing videos as it allows the user to add multiple videos at once rather than having to click multiple different options each time they wish to add one. It also allows you to add filters to clips to make them more vibrant and stand out within the overall video. One of the features within the app is “chroma” this feature allows for the adding of a green screen or blue screen clip and applying a different background to it. The app also contains features such as, a mixer, text/fonts and audio.
Above is a video that is one of three in the playlist that is designed to show you the basics of video leap from the developers.
In my opinion, I would suggest using this app if you travel a lot and cannot carry a laptop around with you. As well as having good portability this app can create very good videos in a short amount of time with ease as it has a very good layout. A major and only downside (that I could see) to this app is the price for the pro version. At $40 for unlimited access, you may be able to find a different app that is cheaper. However, you can use the pro version with a subscription rather than paying the $40 upfront. If you would like to try the app for yourself please visit them here: videoleapapp.com
